DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY (D. PHARM)
Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm)
Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs. It is a health profession that links health sciences with chemical sciences and aims to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. Pharmacy is an essential part of the healthcare system. Pharmacists are medication experts who use their detailed knowledge of medicines to help patients get well.
Eligibility:
The minimum qualification is Pass in Plus Two (10+2) Science with 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. In place of Biology, Maths are also eligible.
Duration:
- The total duration of the course is 2 years & 3 month.
- Yearly system of education is followed in the Institute. Each year consists of minimum 180 working days.
- Three months Hospital training is compulsory for all the student.

Introduction
Drona College of Pharmacy, an enviable destination for Pharmacy Education in the state of Jharkhand in Bokaro District is approved and recognized institute to impart pharmaceutical education. The institution is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and recognized by Government of Jharkhand. It has been established in 2023 with the intention to provide quality education and training in pharmaceutical force in India. Drona Group of Institutions , a pioneering education venture in Dhanbad added another feather to its cap by expanding its purview to health care dimension.
The College is located in the spacious 5-acre Campus and has its own spectacular buildings with spacious well equipped Sophisticated Laboratories, Computer lab, class rooms, auditorium, library and other facilities as per the norms and standards of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
